At the Youth Development League for junior athletes at Hornchurch, Croydon’s Under 17&20 men and women placed 5th out of the 6 clubs competing.

Romell Glave won the Under 20mens 100m in 10.55secs. On the field, Reuben Vaughan won the Under 20 men’s discus ensuring an event maximum with Alex Wiafe also 1st in the B event.

In the horizontal jumps, Ola Olufemi-Krakue and Sonyce Archer had productive days, scooping maximum points in the Under 20 women’s long and triple jumps respectively.
