UKYDL U15s U13 M1, 24th Apr 2017, Results and Report
Croydon Harriers’ young athletes secured a runners-up finish at the season’s opening UK Youth Development League Premier 2 fixture at Reading on Saturday.
Toni Bryan stole the show in the sprints with national standards in the Under 15 girl’s 100m (12.5secs) and 200m (25.7secs). Alisha Reid and Rachel Largie-Poleon ensured Croydon scooped maximum points in the respective B events.
The sprints proved a happy hunting ground for Croydon athletes thanks to Ayo Salako (U13B 100m, 12.6s), India Toasland (U13G 75m) and Damani Mauge (U15B 100m, 11.7s).
Xander Collins triumphed in the Under 15 80m hurdles in 11.90secs while Zoe Dake matched that feat in the Under 15 Girls 300m in 43.6secs.
There were maximum points in the Under 13 Boys Shot thanks to Ethon Phillips (8.09m) and Ovie Whiskey (5.85m), and Sasha Howard cleared 1.36m in the Under 13 Girls High Jump to top the standings.

Croydon secured a clean-sweep in the 4x100m relays across all four age groups.
