UKYDL (LAG) M1, 21/4/18, Results and Report

Croydon’s young athletes kicked off their UK Youth Development League campaign with an unofficial third place finish at Thames Valley on Saturday.

The Under 13 and 15 boys and girls began their Southern Premier 2 season with six A event wins and one event maximum. Israel Bakare (1.69m) and Kwame Tomlin (1.50m) topped the Under U15 Boy’s high jump standings.

Jeffrey Ogbata triumphed in the U15 Boy’s 300m in 40.4s and Ursula Moore leapt to 1.33m in the Under 13 girl’s high jump. Lia Bonsu bagged a double win in the Under 13 girl’s 70m hurdles and long jump respectively. The Under 15 Boys and Under 13 Girls 4x100m teams both secured victories.
