Surrey XC Champs, 7th Jan 2018, Results and Report
Over 25 Croydon athletes took part in the Surrey cross-country championships at Dorking. Robbie Tambling bagged the club’s highest individual finish of the day placing 16th in the Under 17 men’s race.
The squad of Soul Hallums, Matthew Maginn and Adam Shew finished fifth overall in the team race.
The Under 15 girls were spearheaded by Leanne Moore (39th) to finish 6th and the Under 13 girls were led by Jenna Hooper (55th) with the team 8th.
Douglas Aikman improved on his position in the Surrey Championships by 45 places finishing in 31st, leading the Under 13 boys squad to 11th.
The men finished 18th overall headed by Dan Barnes in 125th.
Anna Corby (59th, Senior Women), Jessica Moore (24th, Under 17 women) and Zachary Blair (55th, Under 15 boys) also impressed.
