Surrey Road Relays, Wimbledon, Results and Report, 15th Sep 2018
Nearly twenty Croydon Harriers took part in the Surrey Road Relays at Wimbledon on Saturday.
The men’s A team would eventually place 8th, in their third fastest time around the course. Jake Simmonds enjoyed his best outing over the course and finished 11th overall out of nearly 400 competitors who took part on the day. He handed over in third to Alex Penfold. The remainder of the team consisted of John Millington, Rob Spalding, Peter Chambers and Tim Aina.
The B team would finish 17th thanks to the efforts of Ernie Hann, Julian Forbes, Josh Haasz, Matthew Peek and Derham Moustakim.
Anna Corby spearheaded the ladies team to 14th, backed up by Laura Marshall, Miriam De Souza and Jules Del Nevo.
