Southern XC Champs Round-up, 25th Jan 20

Over 25 Croydon Harriers took part in the South of England cross-country championships at Parliament Hill. 

Jessica Moore would bag the club’s highest finish of the day placing 37th in the junior women’s race. The Under 17 women’s squad would finish 13th in the team race, thanks to the efforts of Kyra Sethna-McIntosh (112th), Alice Maingay (131st), Faith Chen (132nd), Gulcin Erten (141st) and Tugce Erten (158th).

Other age group leaders included Olivia D’Almeida (270th, Under 13 Girls), Kyron-Bailee Burke (81st, Under 13 Boys), Holly Perks (99th, phentermine 37.5 generic Under 15 Girls), Joachim Bambury (137th, Under 17 Men), Adam Shew (99th, Under 20 Men) and Laura Marshall (380th, Women). 

In the men’s race, David Brown led the charge, with a 55 place improvement on 12 months ago placing 469th out of the 1,100 plus competitors.

In parkrun action, Isaac Flanagan finished third at Lloyd Park, while Antara Singh was fourth in the women’s category. Madeleine Armstrong-Plieth was runner-up at South Norwood. While Julian Forbes matched that feat in Nidda Germany.
