Southern Athletics League M4, Croydon Arena, 14th July 18, Results and Report
At Better Croydon Arena, Croydon’s men’s and women gave their 2nd division survival hopes a timely boost with a 2nd place finish in their last four club fixture.
Pat Lucas won the 800m, while there was double success for Paul Ogun in the long and triple jump. Giacomo Spagnoli ensured maximum points in the discus with James Eccles winning the B event, who had earlier won the shot putt.
Jake English was 2nd in the 3000m while Peter Mills won the B event.
There was double relay success for the women thanks to Esinam Dake, Ines Karel, Ella Pippim and Rhiannon Gayle in the 4x100m, and Jessica Moore, Anna Corby, Amy Stone and Twinelle Hopeson-Moffat in the 4x400m
On the field Sonyce Archer won the triple jump, while Emma Fossett topped the hammer standings.
