South of Thames XC 2022
Croydon Harrier Dom Nolan claimed victory in the South of Thames cross-country championships at Lloyd Park on Saturday.
Nolan enjoyed a clear victory in a field which included the best runners from clubs who are south of the river Thames. He would complete the 5-mile course in 25 minutes and 29 seconds. Luke Wakeling (49th), Douglas Aikman (51st) and Lee Tolentino (68th) completed the men’s scoring quartet.
Laura Marshall led the Croydon’s women’s team home, with support from Miriam De Souza and Jules Del Nevo. 20 Croydon Harriers took part.
A massive thanks to all our volunteers who made the day possible!
In parkrun action, Madeleine Armstrong-Plieth was runner-up at South Norwood, while Alexa Gill was 7th in the women’s category at Banstead Woods.
