SLAN Open, 6th Jan 2018, Results and Report
At the SLAN Open at Sutton Arena, over thirty Croydon Harriers kicked off their indoor campaigns.
Emmanuel Thomas won the pole vault with a 4.70m clearance while Paul Ogun won the long jump with a 7.04m effort.
Three Croydon athletes broke the 7 second barrier for the 60m, including Romell Glave who clocked the fastest time of the day of 6.79secs. Samir Williams and Dylan Da Costa were also in close contention. Davina Ansah particularly shone in the women’s races, recording a time of 7.81secs the second fastest women’s time of the day. Ashleigh Clarke wasn’t far behind with a 7.89secs clocking.
