SEAA Indoor Champs U13s-U17s, 11-12th Jan ’20, Report
Croydon Harriers’ young athletes scooped five medals at the South of England Indoor Championships at Lee Valley this past weekend.
Lia Bonsu, enjoyed a huge lifetime best in the Under 15 girl’s 60m where she placed fourth, but it was the 60m hurdles where she clocked 9.03secs in the final to clinch gold. She is ranked 1st in the UK for her age group for her event.
Another gold came courtesy of Gracelyn Kendeck in the Under 13 girl’s 60m where she clocked 8.42secs. Her training partner was runner-up in 8.55secs in the same race.
Two bronze medals were found in the form of Jayden Atta Fynn in the Under 13 boy’s 60m and Kyra Sethna-McIntosh in the Under 17 women’s 800m.
Henry Thomas, Sheresse Miller, India Toasland, Chrissy Afriye Amponsah and Gabriella Berkeley-Agyepong were also in action.
