Road race round-up, 5-6th April ’25

At the Jerusalem 10K, Ben Chapman finished fourth out of over 12,000 finishers in 34 minutes and 4 seconds. 

In Brighton Marathon action, Harry Speedy (3:28:13), Murray Gordon (4:12:51) and Darcey Keegan (6:02:05) kept the Croydon flag flying. 

In other half marathons, Glenn Barden (83:41) was 18th at the Best Athletics Battersea Half Marathon, Marcos Palomares-Conde was 11th M50 in 95:05 and Dominic Watson was 4th M50 at the Kent Coastal event in Margate. 

Forty Croydon Harriers took part in parkrun events with first place finishes coming courtesy of Isaac Flanagan (Lloyd Park) and Douglas Aikman (Sutcliffe Park), with Tina Saunders second at Foots Cray Meadows.
