Road race and parkrun updates, 15-16th March ’25

17 Mar 2025

Croydon Harrier Dom Nolan finished fourth at the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday in 1 hour and four minutes and 49 seconds.

It is the second fastest time ever run by a Croydon Harrier. The former England international was just shy of the podium in a field of 14,500 finishers.

Freddie Harding would narrowly miss out on a personal best in the Rome Marathon but fought valiantly for a 2:57.04 clocking, his second quickest outing over the distance.

Ben Chapman continued his rich vein of form at the Podium 5K in Leicester finishing his Heat in 7th in 15:21 out of 96 finishers.

At the Battersea Under the Lights 5K Luke Wakeling would secure a new lifetime best of 16:24 where he would place fifth in his race of 57 competitors.

On Saturday, 55 Croydon Harriers took part in parkruns with 1st place finishes coming courtesy of Isaac Flanagan (Lloyd Park) and Phil Symonds (South Norwood). There were also notable outings for Douglas Aikman (3rd, Battersea Park), Scott Miller (3rd, Lloyd Park), Madeleine Armstrong-Plieth (3rd, Tollscross) and Ernesto Kelly (5th, Peckham Rye).
