National XC Champs, Leeds, 23rd Feb ’19, Results and Report

At the National cross country championships in Leeds, 27 Croydon Harriers finished against the country’s best.

Stevie Lawrence finished 119th in the women’s race in arguably the pick of the performances on the day. Compatriot Jessica Moore was 101st in the Junior Women’s race.

David White led the men’s team home to 85th in the 6 to score race and 57th in the 9 to score team event, finishing in his 2nd highest Nationals position of 382nd.

Other age group leaders included Matthew Maginn (Under 17 men, 136th), Kyra Sethna-McIntosh (168th, Under 15 girls), Joachim Bambury (112th, Under 15 boys) and Holly Perks (155th, Under 13 girls)
