London Youth Games XC, 17th Nov ’18, Results & Borough Report
Over fifty young athletes represented the Borough of Croydon at the London Youth Games cross country championships at Parliament Hill on Saturday.
It was the squad’s youngest members who enjoyed Croydon’s highest finish, thanks to the Under 11 boys trio.
Ryan Rennie broke into the top 10 finishing 7th, and was backed up by Jack Harper (17th) and Harry Coote (32nd) to scoop team Silver.
The Under 13s placed 13th led home by Thomas Beare while the Under 15s were spearheaded by Joachim Bambury in 25th.
Jack Burton was 1st home for the Under 17 men in 36th, the squad generic viagra online fast delivery finished 12th.
For the girls team, the Under 15s enjoyed the squads highest finish of the day, placing 9th.
The rapidly improving Katie Mooney enjoyed a breakthrough performance finishing in 7th in a field of nearly 200 finishers. Kyra Sethna-McIntosh (36th) and Olivia Lorke (49th) also scored.
The Under 13 girls finished in 11th. Zara Girling (17th), Holly Perks (37th) and Fleur Coppack (94th), were the scoring trio.
Hazel Perks led home the Under 11s squad and Amy Miller was 17th in the Under 17 women’s event.
