London Marathon and Mini Marathon report 2019

Six Croydon Harriers completed the London Marathon! Madeleine Armstrong, James Moore, Faqir Nawaz, Rush Yadave, Jules Del Nevo and Terry Lapins kept the flag flying.

James Moore battled valiantly to 3:40:08, Faqir Nawaz sneaked under the four hour barrier in 03:56:14, Rush Yadavae ran 4:08.25, Terry Lapins broke the five hour barrier in 4:51:42.

Jules Del Nevo ran a solid 4:42:37.

At the North Dorset Marathon, Jacob Plieth clocked the fastest men’s time of the year in three hours 24 minutes, 48 seconds.

Borough Mini Marathon Report

Thirty three athletes represented the Borough of Croydon at the Virgin London Mini Marathon last Sunday.

Conrad Norman spearheaded the Under 13 boys challenge, leading the Borough order ambien usa online home to 7th overall with a third place finish in the London Challenge race.

The Under 15 girls were 9th and led home by Katie Mooney who was 15th. Hector Revill was 39th in the Under 17 men’s race, with the squad finishing 11th overall.

George Ogden placed 40th in the Under 15 boys race, leading Croydon to 17th out of 33 Boroughs.

Amy Beattie (Under 17 women) and Holly Perks (Under 13 girls) led their respective squads home with top 40 finishes.
