Lawrence breaks club 5000m record
In Boston, Stevie Lawrence broke the club’s 5000m record completing the course in 15 minutes and 50 seconds. It ranks her 13th in the UK for the event.
At the RunThrough Top Flight 5k, Ben Chapman would finish 37th in 15:29.

At the Tonbridge Open, Terry Lapins finished the 3000m in 12:03.09 and 1500m in 5:49.57.
At Lee Valley, Cheyanne Evans-Gray clocked 11.83s and Zoe Dake clocked 12.43s for the 100m and 25.92 for the 200m. In the men’s races Tyvon Innis clocked 10.53s, Anjelho Macabee-Rose 11.14s, Joshua Egundebi (12.08s). In the 200m Caroline Lewis ran 29.71s and Macabee-Rose clocked 22.37s (PB). Jesaiah Richards ran 39.48s for the 300m.
In parkruns, 42 Croydon Harriers were in action, with Douglas Aikman finishing first at Beckenham Place Park and Zoha Jetha matching that feat at Lloyd Park amongst the highlights. Alexa Gill was first female finisher at Zamek w Malborku in Poland while Isaac Flanagan was runner-up overall at Lloyd Park.
