Four Croydon Harrier young athletes struck gold at the South of England Indoor Championships at Lee Valley this weekend.

Shot putter Garbiella Tcheukam won the Under 17 women’s event in convincing fashion thanks to a 13.52m effort. The performance has earned her a GB call-up to the international throws festival in Sweden next month.

Farrell Fabusiwa continued his excellent summer form by taking the Under 17 men’s 200m title in 22.59s, with training partner Amari Donkor 5th.

There was a championship best performance from Trey Lindsay in the Under 13 boys 60m winning in 7.77s with teammate Cayden Campbell securing bronze just behind.

Shivelle Marshall won the Under 15 girls 60m final in 7.92s with colleague Casielle Murray grabbing bronze in the same race, while Isaiah Easy-Riley won silver in the Under 15 boys 60m hurdles.
