Bronze for Evans-Gray and fifth for Bonsu at the British Indoors
Croydon Harrier Cheyanne Evans-Gray secured a bronze medal in the 60m final at the British Athletics Indoor Championships at Birmingham on Saturday.
In what was only her second competition of the season, Evans-Gray would run a season’s best of 7.26s in the final having come a Heat and a semi-final earlier in the day. It was her first British Championships since she won the event in 2022.
Club colleague Lia Bonsu would finish fifth in the women’s 60m hurdles final clocking a new lifetime best of 8.32s having won her heat earlier in the day.
