British Athletics League Div4, 7th July, Bedford, Results and Report
Croydon’s men’s team produced a surprise 3rd place performance at the British League Big Saturday at Bedford.
Two-time European champion Martyn Rooney won the 200m and made two appearances in the 4x100m and 4x400m. He ran a 46.2secs split in the 4×4.
Samuel Osewa won the 100m, Lee McLaughlin won the 400m, Emmanuel Thomas won the pole vault and there was a double win for Paul Ogun in the horizontal jumps. Matthew Pepper bagged a 200m PB.
Pat Lucas, Ben Savill, James Eccles, Mark Andrews and Chris King were also in action and valiantly plugged the gaps.
