AGM Notice, 14/11/18, Croydon Arena

PLEASE NOTE – This is NOT the Awards Dinner, which is on Friday 23rd November.

Our AGM is to be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday 14th November in the Clubhouse

All Members are invited to attend the Club Annual General Meeting to choose the new Committee
Members responsible for managing the Club and acting as Charity Trustees for the year ahead.

Please put this date in your diary NOW and support your Club! Refreshments will be served
and there may even be some cakes and biscuits!

Apart from appointing the new Club Officials and Committee, the official business of the AGM will
be to receive the Annual Report and the audited Club accounts; to appoint any Life Members
proposed by the Committee; to consider proposals to revise the Club rules, to determine the Club
subscriptions for 2018 and to appoint the Club Auditor.

We would especially welcome suggestions from Members about anything extra they would like to
see the Club or maybe isn’t doing well enough or any other improvements they would like to see.
If you are not interested in holding an official position but would be happy to lend an occasional

AGM or on a training evening. Just a couple of hours a month would make a valuable
contribution!

The committee has put forward the following nomination for Life Member: Robert Sakala
And the following nominations for Vice President: Richmond Baah, Alan Burn
and Clarence Riley

We are also proposing changing the following wording in the club rules:
7. General Committee Meetings shall normally be held on a monthly basis to ensure the new Club Members may be
elected each month.
