Seven medals at the 2026 SEAA Indoor Champs

Croydon Harrier’s young athletes brought home seven medals from the South of England indoor athletics championships at Lee Valley last weekend.

Teyana Porter led the way clinching gold in the Under 13 girls 60m. Two Croydon athletes made the podium in the Under 13 boys’ event, with Aaron Amponsah bagging silver narrowly ahead of teammate Khalil Clarke.

There was double silver for Trey Lindsay who earned two runners-up finishes after six gruelling races in the Under 15 boys 60m and 200m.

Shivelle Marshall added to her Southern Indoor medal collection with a silver in the Under 17 women’s 60m, while training partner Anjelho Macabee-Rose won bronze in U17 men’s 200M.

There were three further top six finishes from Croydon athletes with Cayden Campbell (Under 15 Boys 60m), Dougita Danso (Under 15 Girls 60m) and Micah St James (Under 15 Boys 60m hurdles) all finishing sixth in their respective finals.
