2XU Surrey Mens League Div2 M3 2016/17 – Results
At the 2XU Surrey Men’s League 2nd division race, an injury hit Croydon squad all but guaranteed their place in the division for next season finishing sixth.  The result means the Harriers remain fourth overall, well clear of the relegation zone in the nine-club division.
Ben Savill led the charge in 13th over the five-mile course in 29 minutes and 22 seconds in his first competition since a long lay-off. The Under 20 duo Kieron Connor (45th, 31:43) and Rob Spalding (49th, 31:52) were next home, and were 1st and 2nd for their age group respectively.
The scoring ten was completed by stalwart David Brown (60th, 32:30), road captain Glenn Barden (72nd, 33:14), Daniel Barnes (83rd, 33:45) and Mark Maginn (88th, 33:55). A further seven Harriers provided non-scoring support.
